The history of this company dates back to 1868, when a small forging shop was performing minor services for the agriculture.

The history of this company dates back to 1868, when a small forging shop was performing minor services for the agriculture. The founders of the company were Heinrich Frambs and Adolf Freudenberg. Through the investment and sales growth, the plant turned gradually into machine factory, under the FRAMBS & FREUDENBERG name, with an iron foundry and boiler-making facilities and in 1920 becomes the largest company in Świdnica.

1945 – 1946

Transformation of the pre-war factory into the Machines and Chemical Apparatus Factory governed by the based in Bytom the Union of the Metal Industry.

1946 – 1949

The subordination of factory to Cracow based the Union of Boiler-Making Industry and change of previous name to new; National Machines and Apparatus Factory in Świdnica and then subordination of factory to Union of Lower Silesia Industrial Equipment Construction Companies in Nysa.

1951 – 1964

Incorporation of the company into an autonomous industrial unit under the name; Świdnicka Industrial Equipment Factory in Świdnica subordinated to the ZEMAK Union of Heavy Machine Building Industry followed by another yet change of subordination to the Chemak Union of Chemical Industry Equipment Construction in Warsaw.

1965 – 1990

Intense development and expansion of the company, among other things by focusing on production of the apparatus and machinery for sugar and chemical industries and also on industrial pumps and putting into the service the new production bays for pump production and the apparatus department.

1992 – 1995

Incorporation of Świdnicka Fabryka Urządzeń Przemysłowych into a Sole Shareholder of the Treasury becoming XV National Investment Fund Joint-Stock Company, thus starting process of restructuring of the company.

1997

Incorporation of a part of Świdnicka Fabryka Urządzeń Przemysłowych -Joint Stock Company into Przedsiębiorstwo Usługowo-Handlowe i Produkcyjne ŚFUP SERVIS Limited Liability Company, which since 2013 year returned to the traditional name; Świdnicka Fabryka Urządzeń Przemysłowych ŚFUP Sp. z o. o.
